Stirchley Open Cinema (SOC) have an absolutely cracking spring line up of community cinema screenings to help you get your film fix without having to stray far from home, including Pop-Up Pictures – 80s cult classic Withnail & I in a taproom, the thought-provoking Nomandland in a Yoga studio, and LGBTQ+ drama Blue Jean at Artefact - and ‘Friday Features’ Nope, Aftersun and Spielberg’s latest at their home venue of Stirchley Baths.
The not-for-profit volunteer-run community cinema, with a mission to bring the local community together through film, have something for everyone over the next few months. At a recent screening, an audience member said: “Brilliant, more Stirchley Cinema please!” – we’re sure you’ll agree after you see the new line-up of upcoming films.
