Pocket Film Festival are a Film Hub Midlands Member and have received funding from the Film Exhibition Fund to enable partnership development.

Continuing after the festival Unseen Cinema are also receiving Spotlight support to work with Candid Community Cinema, this will enable Pocket Film Festival to grow a year-long programme of cinematic activity with trusted festival venue partners.

Owen Hurcombe Director of Unseen Cinema says of the partnership

"We first worked with Candid Beer when they took part in our 2019 festival programme. Having an established partner venue for a year-round programme of pop-up film activity will help us to deliver more meaningful cinematic engagement with our audiences, which will also help to enhance our audience for future festivals. We will aim to provide an exciting mix of British and independent films which will not be available to our local audiences. The partnership with Candid Beer will also enable us to target our younger audiences, but also open up film experiences to groups who might be priced out of commercial cinema experiences."
