This November, Live and Local’s Big Picture Festival returns with a hybrid event of online & live screenings showcasing the best feature films and shorts from international and local Midlands filmmakers.

Saturday 27th November – Sunday 5th December, 2021

This year’s event includes a short film competition which carried the theme “small voices - big impact”. The winning film (a documentary from Coventry called The Allotmenteers) and Runners Up were announced last week. The programme will continue to be announced throughout October.

Big Picture Festival has been made possible with support from Film Hub Midlands through funds from the National Lottery. Film Hub Midlands support people to watch, show, and make films in the Midlands.
