Locally-crafted cinema with a distinctly Shropshire flavour.
Shropshire Independent Cinema is a new partnership curating fun and inspiring film-led events for our local communities and culturally curious visitors. Ludlow Assembly Rooms, Old Market Hall, Wem Town Hall and Wellington Orbit will work with each other, local artists, young people and our cinema and arts partners to hand-pick films and events that express the independent spirit of Shropshire.
The Rural Remix (11-13 July) is our first joint creation, showcasing the creativity of Ludlow, Shrewsbury, Wem and Wellington, presenting our perspective on the rural on screen.
Shropshire Independent Cinema is supported by Film Hub Midlands via the Film Audience Network, with support from BFI using funds from the National Lottery.
