Pocket Film Festivals returns with the week-long festival in Stafford giving audiences to a diverse programme of cinematic treats, including short films, old classics, events with live musical accompaniment, new releases and archive footage.

From Monday 27th September to Sunday 3rd October 2021 we yet again be celebrating the town’s wonderful venues, bringing with it a rich mix of film and culture. This year we will be taking over venues around Stafford with more pop-up film experiences and things we love and hope you will too!

Highlights include The Meg Morley Trio performing an atmospheric live score to the Hitchcock thriller The Lodger, banjo virtuoso Dan Walsh delivering some impromptu accompaniment to some Laurel and Hardy silent classics, and we welcome back Darius Battiwalla who will be providing silent film organ accompaniment to the original Mark of Zorro.

Pocket Film Festival has been made possible with support from Film Hub Midlands through funds from the National Lottery. Film Hub Midlands support people to watch, show, and make films in the Midlands.
