These funds are open to champion the independent film exhibition sector and support the development of cultural organisations across the Midlands.
As part of Film Audience Network, Film Hub Midlands has been awarded funding from the BFI National Lottery. This funding will be used to share with exhibitors with the intention to reach a broad range of audiences with opportunities to experience independent UK and international film titles and to deliver against the set priorities within the BFI's Screen Culture 2033 strategy.

Got an idea for something new? Try a Pitch Pot
Our Pitch Pots are intended to support Film Hub Midlands Members to reach new and diverse audiences for British, independent and international films and broader screen experiences in their local communities.
Whether you are new to film exhibition and want to put on your first screening or an established cinema or community screen that wants to trial a new type of programming, we want to help audiences in the Midlands engage with the widest range of films and broader screen experiences in as many places as possible. Our Pitch Pots are the perfect opportunity to dip your toe into film exhibition, to try something new and take a risk. Film Hub Midlands Members can apply for up to £2,000 for a Pitch Pot.

Bursaries
Film Hub Midlands Members can apply for up to £500 for bursaries for travel and attendance at training and conferences.
Our bursary scheme is designed to enable staff and volunteers of member organisations to enhance their professional development for the benefit of themselves, their organisation and the wider Hub network, with the ultimate aim of broadening audiences and boosting audience choice.
