It is always special when we get to take a look at one of our member venues and we were lucky enough to have Maggie Lockrane and Helen Beech as our tour guides to show us around Foxlowe Arts Centre.

Built in the historic market town of Leek, Foxlowe Arts Centre sits in the middle of the town centre housed within a beautifully elegant Georgian house. Prior to being an arts venue, we learnt that one of its previous incarnations was the Trade and Labour Club.

Now the building shares a wealth of culture with its community including a cinema, comedy club, music, theatre productions, exhibitions and more.

Foxlowe Arts Centre have been screening films for over 10 years now and starting in mid-September they will be launching their Autumn season every Tuesday! Keep your eyes on their website for further updates
