The Young Talent Coordinator at Film Hub Midlands who manages and oversees the regional programme, works closely with cultural arts organisations, venues and young people across the Midlands to provide a wide range of exciting activities and opportunities.

We have created an extensive page of regional and national resources for young people aged 16-25 can engage as part of their CPD. We try to update this page regularly.
Do you have a news section?
Yes we do! This is where we share other regional and national news, updates and case studies which we feel support young creatives in the Midlands.
I’m out of the 16-25 age range, can I take part?
Due to the nature of funding, our activities and opportunities are for aspiring and emerging young creatives aged 16-25 looking to engage with the screen industry.
- If you are 15 and below, you can connect with Into Film which is a national film education programme.
- If you are 18-26 and upwards, you can connect with our BFI NETWORK programme.
Access to Activity
We offer financial bursaries to cover travel and ticket costs, supporting young people (16-25) attending our events.

With 13 years of experience, Ella is passionate about reducing barriers to access and opportunities while connecting and supporting aspiring, emerging, and established talent in the screen industry. She has overseen the production of 37 short films and currently manages the East Midlands BFI Film Academy Short Course Consortium at Broadway Cinema in Nottingham.
