Connect + Collab

APPLICATIONS CLOSE:  Thursday 11 Feb 21  (11:59pm)

Film Hub South West, South East and Midlands are coming together to run Connect + Collab, an online networking event for producers, writers, directors and writer-directors based in our regions who are looking to collaborate on short-form narrative projects.

If you're a writer, director or writer-director looking for a UK-based producer to collaborate with on a short form narrative project that you intend to submit to the BFI NETWORK Short Film Fund, or perhaps you are a producer looking for emerging directors/writer-directors to work with on new projects, then this is for you to connect with filmmaking talent across the UK.

The event will be hosted via Deal Room an online meeting platform that will allow you to create a profile and book in 1:1 video call meetings with other participants between 9am – 8pm GMT on Thursday 11 March. It is a space to network and explore potential new collaborations with the intention of forming filmmakers teams in order to apply to the BFI NETWORK Short Film Fund, which opens again in April 2021.

*As space is limited, there is a selection process before your attendance is confirmed.
